Democrat Commission Candidate Threatens Republican Senator And Pays For It

If anyone on the radical left ever tries to tell you that conservatives on the right are causing the swirling cloud of hatred and violence, feel free to laugh in their face and walk away.

On a daily basis, conservatives are called Nazis and fascists for wanting secure borders, which, by the way, every other country in the world also wants. The left denounces and even attacks ICE agents for no other reason than trying to enforce American law against those who have entered the country illegally, even though every one of them had the option to enter legally.

In the same vein, conservatives are also unjustly said to be Islamophobic and transphobic for seeing things the way they truly are and refusing to delude themselves with unrealistic fallacies. However, neither accusation is accurate.

Conservatives are not suffering from islamophobia because they denounce those who say “Death to America,” and persecute Christianity and all other religions as infidels that need to be conquered.

Conservatives ARE definitely against these radicals, and anyone who wants to preserve religious liberty should feel the same. Ignoring the fact that these people are violent extremists by burying their heads in the sand and denying their capabilities, which is fueled by a misplaced hatred, are assisting them through lethargy.

Likewise, it is not transphobic to not want men or boys in the same locker room and showers with women and girls. Nor is it transphobic to not want men or boys to compete against women and girls in sporting events. In fact, it is common sense, and the very idea that some people think it shows equality is ludicrous.

For Democrats and liberals, these issues often provoke emotional responses that have, on too many occasions, led some individuals to resort to threats and violence. These actions are never legitimate, even though the left will try to justify them.

Case in point, an obviously unstable leftist named Haley McKnight, who was vying for a seat on the city commission in Helena, Montana, left an extremely vile voicemail on Republican Senator Tim Sheehy’s answering machine.

In the vulgar and threatening message, after McKnight identified herself, she went on to say:

“I just want to let you know that you are the most insufferable kind of coward and thief. You just stripped away health care for 17 million Americans. I hope you’re really proud of that. I hope that one day you get pancreatic cancer, and it spreads throughout your body so fast that they can’t even treat you for it. I hope that you die in the street like a dog. One day, you’re gonna live to regret this.”

“I hope that your children never forgive you. I hope that you are infertile. I hope you never manage to get a boner ever again. You are the worst piece of sh*t I’ve ever, ever, ever had, uh, the misfortune of looking at. And you don’t serve Montanans. You serve your own private interests. All that you have done since you’ve gotten into power is do sh*t for yourself. God forbid that you ever meet me on the streets, because I will make you regret it. F*ck you. I hope you die.”

You may be wondering what Sheehy could have possibly done to evoke that type of reaction from a woman who was running for a political position herself. Well, all Sheehy did was vote to advance President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.”

That’s right, all he had to do was agree with President Trump and vote to advance the bill, which was enough to trigger McKnight.

She left the message in July, but it was only released this past week. When asked why the Sheehy team did not publicize the voicemail at the time it was recorded, a spokesperson stated that it had only recently come to their attention and that law enforcement had been informed about it.

Since the message was released, McKnight lost her election and was subsequently fired from her job at the Sage & Oats Trading Post. The outrage was so great that the business decided to close its doors until November 11th, hoping that talk of boycotting the business will have passed.

After losing the election and getting fired, McKnight felt obligated to apologize and did so through the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

“I truly apologize for my words and the damage that they have caused. In my heart of hearts, I wish none of these things on Senator Sheehy. I’ve taken time to reflect on my words and actions, and what I said was inexcusable. He’s a person, just like me, and no one, regardless of their beliefs, should ever be spoken to like that.”

“I wish him and his family well, and I am committed to a more civil discourse moving forward on my behalf.”

The apology lost some of its sincerity, if there was any to begin with, when she told the Chronicle that while she doesn’t actually wish Sheehy physical harm, she stands by her criticism of him.

“I stand by what I said, because I want it to be abundantly clear to the senator that he needs to put himself in the issues of working Montanans who do face significant health issues.”

She then lost all credibility by saying that she knows Sheehy spokesperson Jack O’Brien through a mutual friend and believes the leaked voicemail is a form of personal retribution.

“I do believe that it’s an act of personal retaliation. I’ve been openly critical of his deputy communications director, Jack O’Brien, for a long time. We have a personal relationship outside of politics, and I really thought more of his communications team than to go after people that they know personally.”

For his part, Obrien dismissed the statement. In an email he wrote:

“That is false. It’s unfortunate she decided to leave a threatening voicemail for Senator Sheehy wishing terminal pancreatic cancer, death and infertility on the senator, but I hope she gets the help she clearly needs and wish her well.”

This is typical of Democrats. They commit a despicable act and then try to spin it as though they were the victim. Helena, Montana, dodged a big bullet by not electing this lunatic. Thank God the message was released when it was.
