If It’s Bad for America, Woke Leftists Support It
It’s a phenomenon so stunning, yet insidious, that every American with hopes for a better life should be paying close attention.
Woke leftists are so consistently aligned with policies, ideas and motivations that harm America, their actions can no longer be written off as simple, misguided self-destructive empathy. The left represents a true and real-time existential threat to our democracy (or representative republic if you’re so inclined).
Woke Leftists for Waste, Fraud and Abuse
Perhaps the most egregious of the leftist’s relentless pursuit of self-destruction was the violent temper tantrums they threw when Elon Musk, a great entrepreneur and patriot, volunteered for the thankless job of rooting out waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government. At the time that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was created, Musk estimated that he and his staff could recover $2 trillion in wasteful and fraudulent spending that benefitted special interests at the expense of average American taxpayers.
The negative reaction of leftist Deep State bureaucrats was swift and effective. Key agencies like the FBI, State Department and the Pentagon refused to comply with DOGE requests for accountability. Several agencies, including the IRS, brazenly refused to allow DOGE employees to enter their facilities or gain access to their records.
DOGE was the target of leftist lawsuits, and disturbingly, extreme violence directed against Elon Musk, Tesla dealerships and Tesla owners. This included multiple incidents of Teslas being keyed, vandalized and set on fire. Incredibly, a Tesla dealership was firebombed.
Why was there this extreme level of resistance, including violence, against an honest effort to expose fraud and waste in government? The only explanation is that the corruption runs so deep and is so ingrained, and the sums of misappropriated money are so large, leftists cannot afford for the depth of the scams to be revealed.
Recently, DOGE quietly disbanded after saving the taxpayer $214 billion, which is still a fraction of Elon’s original estimate. Notice how no politician at the national level, from either party, is talking about eliminating waste and fraud in government anymore? The Deep State crushed the Trump administration’s effort to expose corruption.
It’s the administration’s biggest failure so far.
Woke Leftists for Violence in American Cities
In recent months, President Trump has intensified federal efforts to target violent offenders and individuals in the country illegally who are wanted for serious crimes. His administration argues that coordinated operations supported by ICE agents, federal law-enforcement personnel, and in some cases the National Guard, are necessary tools to reduce crime and restore public order in cities experiencing persistent violence like Washington D. C., Memphis, Chicago, Detroit and other Domocrat run cities. Local jurisdictions have been overwhelmed or unwilling to act, making federal intervention essential to removing dangerous individuals from the streets.
But Democrat leaders, civil-liberties groups, and local violent activists aren’t having any of it. Pro-crime leftists like J.D. Pritzker, who actually filed a lawsuit to prohibit Trump from deploying National Guard troops in Chicago, are vehemently against the federal government deporting criminal aliens and apprehending dangerous criminals. In fact, many blue-leaning cities have enacted policies limiting cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. In some instances, this includes local pro-criminal activists providing apps that give illegal aliens advanced notice of ICE operations in their area.
It’s remarkable that leftists, including Democrat leaders, shamelessly defy federal jurisdictional authority and openly advocate protections for criminals and illegal aliens.
Woke Leftists for Narco-Terrorists
Over 105,000 Americans die of drug overdoses every year. The suffering and grief families experience from these unnecessary deaths is immeasurable. But woke leftists would rather ensure the rights of narco-terrorists, who deliver deadly drugs like fentanyl, are protected instead of seeing them killed and their drugs destroyed.
Local Venezuelan hubs, including Sucre state and Margarita Island, have been indisputably identified as major global staging points for maritime transportation of illicit narcotics to the Eastern Caribbean and beyond. The Treasury Department has determined that Nicolás Maduro is providing logistical and financial support to the Sinaloa Cartel while allowing it to operate in Venezuelan territory before it distributes the drugs to the United States.
As a result, the Trump administration, under the direction of the Department of War, has conducted 21 operations resulting in the deaths of 83 narco-terrorists.
The left’s reaction? Trump is a war criminal.
According to a report in the Washington Post, a recent attack on a Venezuelan drug boat ferrying drugs and 11 narco-terrorists was hit by a missile. Apparently, two of the narco-terrorists survived the initial attack. According to the Post, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody.” A second missile was fired, and the survivors were obliterated.
Sanctimonious, suicidal empaths, like Senator Ed Markey, couldn’t wait to call Hegseth a “war criminal” and demand he be “fired immediately.” Hegseth denied reports he ordered the second attack, but it hardly matters. We’re talking about people who are importing drugs into our country that are killing our children. If it took five missiles to kill them, who cares? Good riddance.
But Democrats? They’re more concerned about protecting the rights of the drug boats and the narco-terrorists than the American children these vermin are killing every day.
Woke Leftists Hope for America’s Destruction
I’ve touched on a few of the most extreme examples of the philosophies, policies and actions of woke leftists that threaten America and degrade our culture, safety and future, but there are a lot more. In essence, if it benefits America, they’re against it; but if it hurts America, they’re all in.
I hope Americans, in one huge epiphany, emerge quickly from the fog of indecision and banish these people to the annals of history’s failed authoritarian movements. I promise you these lunatics are not going away quietly. We can no longer afford to sit by and passively watch them destroy everything our ancestors worked for.
