Paranoid And Vindictive Pro-abortion Activists Shot Down In Florida

What does it say about a cause when the best arguments for it are lies and distortions? The justification for the normalcy of abortion is all based on lies, fearmongering, radical distortions, and propaganda.

No one disagrees that there are times when the taking of a fetal life is necessary, but those occurrences are few and far between. Yet all of the propaganda has been so overwhelming to make it an afterthought that it has almost become the equivalent of a visit to the emergency room to get a few stitches.

Publicly, the left portrays itself as a holy protector of women’s rights, but they don’t give a damn about women’s rights. Abortions kill babies; that’s what they really care about. It’s stopping population growth at its source. What you never hear about is all of the contraceptive options that women have and choose not to use.

The left wants you to believe that abortion is the only choice and that it’s a woman’s place to make it. That’s hardly true; women have many options, such as vaginal rings, condoms, birth control implants, Progestin IUDs, oral contraceptives, birth control shots, contraceptive patches, progesterone-only pills, diaphragms, spermicide, sterilization, tubal ligations, vasectomies, cervical caps, combined pills, Depo-Provera, internal condoms, intrauterine devices, birth control sponges, injections, early withdrawal, even emergency contraception.

What the left is really peddling here is irresponsibility. They ignore the fact that women in society have many choices, and instead of pushing fertility awareness and demanding moral responsibility, they sanctify the murder of the unborn. It’s easy for them; there’s no voice to silence.

They have successfully woven this murderous trend into society. Instead of agonizing and heartfelt, the decision is reduced to an afterthought. Many women don’t even consider any of the options listed above to prevent pregnancy. They stumble through their sexual exploits, knowing that if they do get pregnant, the solution is an abortion. Murder should never be a solution.

Pro-abortion activists will try anything to perpetuate the lie that abortion is the only solution. Their paranoia knows no limits, and they will try anything to fortify that illusion.

Recently, a federal court just struck down Clearwater, Florida’s plot to silence pro-life counselors.

A federal court has just rejected Clearwater’s attempt to silence pro-life counselors. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has dealt a significant setback to Clearwater city officials who believed they could suppress pro-life advocates through a clever legal maneuver.

In a 2-1 decision on Thursday, federal judges Kevin Newsom and Britt Grant, both appointed by President Trump, ordered a lower court to immediately block the city’s “vehicular safety zone” established around the Bread and Roses Women’s Health Center.

City officials sought to present their 2023 ordinance as a public safety measure. However, the appeals court saw right through their claims.

The ordinance prohibited all pedestrians from entering a five-foot buffer zone around the clinic’s driveway, effectively preventing Florida Preborn Rescue counselors from providing life-affirming literature to women entering the facility.

Judge Kevin Newsome Put It this way:

“The ordinance seriously burdens Florida Preborn’s speech by restricting the sidewalk counselors’ ability to distribute leaflets to patients as they arrive at the clinic.”

These individuals are not aggressive protesters who obstruct driveways or harass patients. Florida Preborn Rescue counselors stand out by dressing in bright vests. They stand at the end of the driveway, providing information about alternatives to abortion, including adoption resources, financial assistance, medical care, and other support for mothers facing crisis pregnancies.

All they seek is the opportunity to give a pamphlet to a woman who may be facing the most significant decision of her life.

The idea of a woman making up her own mind was too much reality for the city officials. Their paranoia consumed them, so they fabricated safety claims to obstruct the necessary transfer of knowledge.

The city tried to justify its censorship by citing 73 police calls to the clinic in one year about “continuing and recently escalating confrontation.”

But here’s what the city didn’t want anyone to know: Florida already has laws in place that prohibit the obstruction of traffic and public streets.

The court ruled:

“The city did not adequately consider alternative measures to address the safety risk, including enforcing Florida’s existing anti-obstruction law.”

U.S. District Judge Mary Scriven, who previously denied Florida Preborn Rescue’s request to block the ordinance, stated that protesters were “approaching cars” and “holding signs against the passengers’ and drivers’ windows.”

That claim has never been substantiated, but the appeals court ruling clarified that even if it were, existing laws were not being enforced.

Clearwater established a speech-free zone aimed at preventing pro-life counselors from assisting women during their most vulnerable moments. Judge Nancy Abudu, appointed by Biden, dissented, arguing that an additional five feet of distance was not a significant burden because the counselors’ voices could still reach the women.

Abudu knows that claim is ridiculous. You can’t scream alternatives at a woman who is contemplating eliminating a life. Even if their mind is already made up, they may not be aware of all of the other options, and the very idea that women may contemplate other outcomes infuriates pro-abortion activists. If a woman changes her mind, that eliminates a notch on an activist’s belt. These people are ghouls driven by hatred, paranoia, and vengeance.

Scott Mahurin, president of Florida Preborn Rescue, clearly stated the facts:

“All we want to do is help women who are facing this life and death decision and give them life-affirming options.”

Florida Preborn Rescue attorney Tyler Brooks put it this way:

“Expectant mothers deserve the chance to hear about support, options, and hope at such a critical moment.”

Judges Newsom and Grant understood the true essence of this case: a city using governmental authority to stop women from receiving a rational message of other choices and support.

The case is now back in the district court with orders to promptly enter the injunction.

Florida Preborn Rescue counselors can continue their mission to provide life-affirming options to women at the Clearwater clinic. Every woman driving into that clinic will have the opportunity to hear that help is available if she chooses to seek it.

This is typical of the radical left. They want Americans to do as they say, to the extent that they do everything in their power to prevent any discussion of other options.

There is an expression that says, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.”

Democrats and those on the far left have shown us time and time again who they are: controlling, manipulative fascists who are so paranoid that they don’t even want women to know the whole truth.

For years, the left has promoted to women that it is their bodies and their choice. This is true, but there are more contraceptive measures available now than at any other time in history, so try choosing some of those before you find yourself contemplating the unthinkable. Then, if you do find yourself pregnant, take the time to consider all of the options, both yours and your unborn child’s lives depend on it.
