Voter ID Accountability Is Why Dems Hate The Save Act
There are some ideas that one could see Republicans and Democrats disagreeing on, but the fact that Democrats are willing to fight tooth and nail to allow noncitizens to vote is beyond the pale.
Anyone who can honestly step back and say to themselves that American elections should be open to non-Americans is a subversive traitor. There is no other country in the world with a major political party that takes that stance.
Countries have internal struggles and fights for thousands of different reasons, but allowing foreigners, even illegals, to vote in a sovereign nation’s elections is most definitely not one of them.
As usual, one of the chief antagonists is old Chuck Schumer, the Democratic Senate Minority Leader. Based on his decisions, Schumer has left little doubt that he is all in for the power but hates anything that is good for the country.
“Schmucker” recently made it clear that he hates the SAVE America Act because voting for it would require cleaning the voter rolls in every state, and much to “Schmucker’s” and the Democrats’ chagrin, that would mean only eligible voters would be able to vote.
While he was disparaging the SAVE Act, he rolled out the usual lies to try to gaslight the American public. He even threw in a few irrational Jim Crow references for color.
“The Save Act is Jim Crow 2.0. More than 20 million people would lose their right to vote. And you would need to register either a passport or your original birth certificate. How many people have that?”
According to the official Congress.gov website, an acceptable form of proof of citizenship is anything that complies with the REAL ID Act of 2005. Which means that all the smoke Democrats are blowing is just that, nothing but smoke. Driver’s licenses and identification cards issued by the state that indicate U.S. citizenship meet this standard. The Transportation Security Administration states that driver’s licenses from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories comply with REAL ID requirements.
Democrats have taken this anti-American stance despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans agree with the fact that only Americans should vote in our elections. According to a Pew Research Center poll released in August, 83 percent of Americans support requiring voters to show a government-issued I.D.
“Schmucker” also lied and said that the Save America Act “would eliminate vote by mail.”
“Tell that to a senior citizen who’s confined to their home in a wheelchair that they’re going to lose their right to vote.”
Wrong again, Schmucker, the legislation specifically states:
“Each State shall, in consultation with the Election Assistance Commission, ensure that reasonable accommodations are made to allow an individual with a disability who submits the mail voter registration application form.”
In a social media post last week, President Donald Trump wrote, “NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPT FOR ILLNESS, DISABILITY, MILITARY, OR TRAVEL!)”

THE SAVE AMERICA ACT!

·According to NBC News, the Save America Act is actually more expansive in its allowance for mail-in voting than Trump stated.
“The bill would make it harder to register to vote and cast ballots by mail, requiring most voters to show their proof of citizenship in person and to photocopy their voter IDs when they vote by mail — it wouldn’t exactly stop mail voting.”
“Schumucker” saved his biggest lie for last. I guess he believes in the axiom, “Lie Big or Go Home.” So, get this whopper from a desperate “Schmucker:”
“And Trump would purge the voter rolls using an AI system set up by Musk and DOGE. So you could show up at the polling place this November, and they could say, ‘You’re no longer on the rolls.’ They don’t even notify you of it.”
Looks like “Schmucker” forgot that Musk no longer works for the government and that DOGE no longer exists. But why let facts get in the way of a good lie?
The Save America Act mandates that states remove noncitizens and others ineligible to vote, such as, you know, dead people, from their official voter registration lists.
If you are a noncitizen who previously registered to vote, you might arrive at the polling place and discover that you are no longer on the voter rolls, as “Schmucker” mentioned, and that is a good thing.
If some voters were wrongfully removed from the registration rolls—which is very rare—they can still present their REAL ID and be issued a provisional ballot. Election officials will count this ballot once they verify the voter’s citizenship.
The legislation specifically states that nothing in its provisions:
“May be construed to supersede, restrict, or otherwise affect the ability of an individual to cast a provisional ballot in an election for Federal office or to have the ballot counted in the election if the individual is verified as a citizen of the United States.”
“Schmucker” and the Democrats love to fear-monger and confuse the American public. They will do anything to stay in power, no matter what the cost. They will always try to name the most obscure possibility and use that example as though it would occur every day.
The benefit of having reliable voter rolls greatly outweighs any minor issues that may arise during the clean-up process.
The Democrats’ policies are horrible, and they know it. They think the only way for them to survive politically is to destroy the voting practices of our nation. We can’t let them get away with it, and the SAVE Act will go a long way toward preventing it.
