Chris “Murphy’s Law” Proves Why He’s Blue Connecticut’s Choice For Senator
People have known about and referenced “Murphy’s Law” since 1949. However, Connecticut decided that referencing it by name only wasn’t good enough, so they voted it into office.
Murphy’s Law is the adage “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong,” expressing a pessimistic view that if a possibility for failure exists, it will eventually happen. It originated with USAF Captain Edward A. Murphy Jr. in 1949 in reference to faulty engineering checks, but it is now widely applied in daily life as a humorous explanation for bad luck, such as a piece of toast falling butter-side down.
Connecticut decided to test the theory of “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong,” by electing the law’s namesake, Chris Murphy, and he hasn’t disappointed.
Murphy’s latest transgression is another example of what the Democratic Party has become. Get in front of a friendly crowd, where there will be no pushback, and act like the sky is falling because a Republican is in the White House. One thing is for sure: no matter what Murphy’s opinions are about President Trump’s policies, they should not be portrayed as the reason for America’s problems. Trump inherited a disaster from a brainless, uncaring Biden administration that was determined to undermine American tradition and values in every way possible.
Murphy is a United States Senator who behaves like a spoiled child. Not that it’s surprising, he’s a Democrat, so seeing him denigrate a sitting president, after the four years his party put our country through, is tantamount to watching a four-year-old’s tantrum over not getting his favorite sucker flavor after throwing his friends in the dirt.
Even more egregious was that Murphy didn’t just trash President Trump; he criticized America in general, and he made his comments while in Barcelona, Spain.
Murphy’s rants and complaints about Trump are beyond old and worn out. Trump has taken up permanent residence in Murphy’s empty head, so much so that if Trump disappeared, Murphy would probably become a mime.
Murphy was speaking at the inaugural Global Progressive Mobilization conference. During his rant, he told the crowd that the United States faced “the most significant threat” to democratic institutions since the Civil War, and that Americans were “watching the courage of the defenders of democracy” in Hungary and other parts of Europe.
“That victory in Hungary just a week ago, it lifted our sails in the United States of America, so, I want us to make sure one more time that we give a hearty, loud thanks to the people of Hungary for saving their democracy and perhaps helping to save ours.”
Helping to save ours? What the hell is this moron talking about?
Murphy portrayed America as being “in crisis,” and like all Democrats, tried to claim that Trump is attempting a “totalitarian takeover.” Another baseless claim, Democrats just aren’t used to seeing a president take decisive action. I’m sure that Murphy would have been much happier if Trump had sent pallets of cash to Iran as Obama did.
His lies about Trump are the exact opposite of reality. Democrats are masters at projecting their faults onto others. The things he tried to pin on Trump are exactly what Democrats and liberals wake up every day trying to do.
“He is trying to seize control of our courts, of our law enforcement, of our media, of our elections. His goal is oligarchic capture.” Then this, he described Trump’s administration as “the most corrupt” in the nation’s history.
It’s laughable how selective his memory is. Obama’s eight years and the Biden/Harris blunder fest were both built on lies, deception, and sleight of hand.
Murphy then went on to call on progressives to unite in order to counter what he calls right-wing populism across the globe, singling out the AfD party in Germany, National Rally leader Marine Le Pen in France, former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Orbán, and, of course, Trump.
Murphy is an empty drum. A noise maker who loves to make accusations but never offers any solutions. The Global Progressive Mobilization conference is the perfect place for Murphy to spout off. I’m guessing there were no Republicans even invited, or, for that matter, anyone who hasn’t lost touch with reality.
