Poor, Poor Jeremy Corbyn
Jeremy Corbyn was interviewed on current Labour troubles. He responded by relating the story of his own expulsion from the party, lamenting that he was sent a two line email and told to call the Samaritans if he was a bit depressed.
“I’d been in the party 55 years….arrogance in office always gets you in the end.”
Corbyn gave a look in the middle of this, a sort of ‘can you believe how they mistreated me’ look. He is clearly still shocked by it.
What a tale of suffering, eh? It’s hard to fathom such cruelty. Clearly it dwarfs the experiences of all the victims of all the terrorist organisations he has spent his whole lifetime supporting.
This is a man that befriended Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA. Never hearing the cries of their victims. Never noticing the blood on the streets spilled by his friends. Excusing, excusing, excusing, claiming compassion all the while…..and feeling pity only for himself.
You couldn’t get a better summation of leftism than that.
A man who has spent a lifetime excusing bombers, torturers, mass murderers, Jew haters, befriending people who murdered the women and children of his own country, shaking hands with blood on them and laying wreaths for savages and psychopaths, and continuously, day after day, year after year, blaming and condemning everyone except the people murdering women and children…..when searching for the very worst thing about his party, immediately considers his expulsion the greatest crime they have committed.
It’s all about Jeremy.
Kier of course will be exactly the same. When he goes he won’t ever wonder if he got anything wrong, or if anyone was justified in detesting him.
He will be the victim.
Because that is leftism. That is what leftists mean by empathy, and compassion, and kindness, and all the other positive words they abuse and misapply.
Their own perpetual sense of victimhood and entitlement being deferred to, while they and their friends are supposed to be allowed to ignore or inflict any level of suffering they please.
That is what it means to be The Left. From the sober suits to the ragged coats, from the ‘moderates’ to the ‘radicals’, all that differs is the presentation.
The Never Guilty Self Pitying Victim, doing harm….that stays the same.
