Caitlin Clark: What the Left’s Hatred of a Great Female Basketball Player Solely Because of her Skin Color Shows
The toxicity of the leftists who control today’s failing Democratic Party knows no bounds. Whether these radicals are lying about Trump being a Russian agent, claiming January 6th was worse than 9-11, or pushing the myth of white privilege to divide the country, the radicals who still control much of the media and make up the higher ranks of the Democrats are often as ruthless as these individuals are nasty. This faction of the increasingly far-left Democratic Party has also repeatedly advocated and engaged in violence, as was seen for nearly a full year after the death of George Floyd and the multiple assassination attempts on President Trump.
The entire premise of the left, that the 47th president is a fascist, an existential threat to “Our Democracy,” or an authoritarian leader, is a logical predicate for the justification of violence against both Trump and MAGA.
These are lies with a purpose.
If a person truly thinks someone is a threat to our country, then eliminating that person would obviously logically follow as a positive for the nation. Indeed, even though Bernie Sanders lost the Democratic primary to Hillary Clinton in 2016, the socialist’s success in that run was a clear prelude to the eventual takeover of the Democrat party by these radicals. President Trump could not have been more right when he said Biden would be a Trojan horse for the far-left.
Even more concerning is the blatant and pervasive racism the nation has repeatedly seen from many leftists against whites. The hatred these radicals have of female basketball phenom Caitlin Clark is a good example of this nastiness. Clark broke all the college records at Iowa, and her incredible popularity with basketball fans of all ages and races has elevated the WNBA, a league that has never once been profitable, to levels not seen before. The Indiana Fever star has also been very careful not to be controversial or political. Clark has never made any comments on race, politics, or President Trump. She has a reputation as a strong teammate, and the former college great has strong relationships with both black and white players.
This is why Clark’s early-season struggles this year, a normal part of the growth process for a player in just her third year, and the reactions to this adversity she’s faced, should concern some. Caitlin Clark has been subjected to some of the nastiness and repeated hatred from former players, deranged people on social media, and others on the left with a clear agenda. Sheryl Swoopes, a former WNBA player, even blatantly lied and claimed Clark only broke the college records she shattered at Iowa by playing more years and shooting far more shots, both obviously false claims. Many WNBA players have also targeted her with hard fouls and thinly veiled comments attacking Clark in the press and on social media.
The hatred many on the far left have for Clark, simply because she is white, is not a new phenomenon either. It’s a manifestation of something which is increasingly evident on the political scene – and not just in America.
In countries ranging from China to Cambodia, or even more recently in South Africa, leftists have openly advocated and engaged in violence against those with whom these radicals disagree. The fact that most of the political violence in America comes from this same group of extremists should surprise no one either. While this faction of the Democratic Party has always been actively political, the power these individuals have now should concern all Americans regardless of political party.
If a political ideology is based in significant part on the absurd and racist generalization that whites or whiteness is evil, that viewpoint has no place in US society anymore than that of previous racism seen in the past. The entire idea of attempting to replace prejudice of the past with a new and more insidious form of racism is disgusting, and the hatred that Clark has repeatedly received solely because she is white from both players and some fans alike is a warning to America of the direction the country could go if the radical left again assumes power.
