Prostitution And Sex Workers Fuel Dems’ Economic And Election Plans
Is it really surprising that Democrats in New York, led by the communist Zohran Mamdani, think that endorsing prostitution is supporting a better economy? Is it surprising that Democrats in Atlanta are spending $100,000 on a project called Hot2Vote, that uses Porn Stars to reach out to voters to check their voting status?
In my opinion, it’s not surprising at all. The Democratic Party has no floor on its values and standards. They will go as low as they have to in order to slither up to anyone they think can help them.
In New York City, Prostitution is now rampant. Crime statistics can be manipulated and be deceiving. So, when the New York Post reported that “prostitution-related arrests have plunged by 60 percent,” neighborhoods in the city were not popping champagne.
All those numbers reflect that the city and state have lowered the priority of arresting and prosecuting those crimes.
The Post went on to report:
“Clusters of New York City have been inundated with hookers and pimps brazenly operating on public streets since a state statute prohibiting loitering for the purpose of prostitution was repealed by far-left Albany pols in February 2021. The change in the law has allowed hookers to operate more freely, with cops turning their attention to traffickers, pimps, and johns.”
Even former New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who was as useless as a crocheted condom, responded to the increase in prostitution by launching an initiative in 2024 to aggressively police problematic areas like Roosevelt Avenue in Queens.
The crackdown worked … temporarily.
According to city statistics released about the Roosevelt Avenue area by the Adams administration in June of 2025:
“Complaints of petit larceny are down by 28 percent, and reported sex crimes have plummeted by 52.5 percent. At the same time, prostitution-related arrests have risen nearly fivefold—an increase of 477.8 percent compared to the same period last year—reflecting intensified enforcement against illegal activity and sex trafficking.”
All was good, but a dark cloud in the form of misguided communism appeared in Mamdani. This genius, who has never had a real job in his entire life, short-circuited the progress, as he has in so many instances since New Yorkers elected this fool.
Whenever you hear the words “Social Justice” come out of a Democrat’s mouth, you will know instantly that they are trying to justify some ignorant delusion of theirs. In this case, they think cracking down on prostitution is an attack on social justice. Sex work needs to be protected in their nearsighted, one-track minds.
On the Democratic Socialists of America website, it is proudly explained why they endorse full decriminalization of “sex work.”
“Sex-worker-led movements all over the world are engaged in an existential struggle to win basic human and labor rights for one of the most criminalized, stigmatized, and persecuted workforces in history.”
In 2020, the DSA website explained in a statement that it means: “Eliminating prostitution, loitering, solicitation, and vagrancy related laws.”
Mamdani was on this bandwagon during his campaign.
Never lose sight of the fact that Mamdani is a chameleon who disguises his efforts to destroy as a repair.
Mamdani aims for a complete political and social revolution, not just specific law enforcement measures. This objective remains unchanged, even as the methods to achieve it evolve.
The Democratic Party is increasingly aligning with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) on various issues, including the topic of prostitution. Earlier in 2026, Democrats in Colorado attempted to decriminalize prostitution in the state, but their efforts were narrowly unsuccessful.
Why would anyone think that the DSA or any leftist group actually cares about the well-being of women, specifically the prostitutes they refer to as “sex workers”?
It is widely acknowledged that many areas where prostitution has been legalized often have a seedy reputation. These places can become hotspots for pimps, gangsters, and various criminals.
Morally corrupt socialists have a different perspective. They view everything as material. In their opinion, prostitution poses no inherent problems for individuals or society that cannot be addressed through labor organizing, housing, healthcare, fair wages, and so on.
That runs counter to the experiences of even the most “functional” places that have legalized prostitution, which have faced serious negative consequences.
Even the Netherlands, known for its liberal tolerance of prostitution, has recently imposed more restrictions on its red-light districts in Amsterdam and elsewhere due to issues related to abuse, crime, and addiction.
Don’t think that history and common sense count for much with socialists. They have such demented theories about our future that they can only see their side of anything. They believe that only billionaires and grumpy naysayers, who insist on referencing history and human nature, could possibly oppose their transformative social goals, which they claim will resolve all issues in human relations once the revolution is achieved.
In the real world, more women will suffer from abuse, and vice and exploitation will rise. Ultimately, Democrats will once again make excuses for how their poor policies led to these negative outcomes. They will accept no responsibility for their failure and will hide behind the hallucination that they were just trying to do the right thing.
Right, just like getting porn stars to do public service messages telling people to check their voter status after the Atlanta voter rolls were cleaned of 470,000 voters. The Hot2Vote campaign tells people to check their voting status and update it if needed. All 100 performers in the campaign are pushing for the same thing.
Pin-up-style posters are being displayed throughout the city. In-person appearances are being arranged, and digital ads are geofenced to adult clubs. According to Politico Playbook, the campaign aims to reach over 400,000 people.
Prostitutes, Pimps and Porn Stars sounds about right for the jackass party.
