We Get What We Allow

I sat down to write this last night but decided to wait a bit until my contempt subsided.

I claimed in an earlier essay not to hate, and I donโ€™t. There is no emotion in what Iโ€™m about to write. Iโ€™ve never been in our military, but one of my sons is recently retired, and a nephew is currently an operator, a Ranger – and I am close enough to those who have served to know that when they approach a mission, it is with dispassion and focus on the objective. There is no room for emotion to crowd out the efficient and effective prosecution of their jobs.

This is that.

Yesterday as, we sat on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and the first anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, such thoughts seemed to be stealing reverence from the remembrances of those two culture-altering events.

Iโ€™m sure, if you were around social media at all, you were witness to the hate and vitriol directed toward Charlie, Turning Point USA and Christians in general.

Iโ€™m also sure that you have expectations of our friends across the aisle that approach zero, and not to disappoint, they went even lower yesterday, but I do desperately need to get something off my chestโ€”and I will do my best to hold the cussing down to a minimum.

We are roughly eight weeks out from executing our own mission, winning the mid-term elections. There are people who seem to think that they are in charge, that they have an advantage – and they think you and I donโ€™t know who they are, but unfortunately for them, they arenโ€™t in charge and we do know exactly who they are.

They are the people who argued that a sitting president receiving oral sex in the White House from an intern was a personal, private matter and had nothing to do with his job performance.

They are the people who constantly align with Americaโ€™s enemies, going back to Teddy Kennedy trying to solicit help from the Soviets to defeat Ronald Reagan and the Reagan administrationโ€™s fight against the โ€œBlame America Firstersโ€.

They are the people who believe America deserved to be attacked on 9/11.

They are the people who defended 9/11 conspirators.

They are the people who crushed the global financial system by demanding that housing was a human right and a public good, and used threats of government regulation to coerce lenders to make loans to people who could not pay them back.

They are the people who told Americans they would lower health insurance costs while hiding the true costs by increasing taxpayer funded subsidies, resulting in less competition and even higher prices. Now they want Medicare for all. Cloward Piven in action.

They are the people who opened the borders and allowed tens of millions of โ€œmigrantsโ€ to enter, only to be put on the federal welfare rolls โ€“ given access to programs citizens cannot access – even though they still deny it.

They are the people who used the power of the justice system to investigate and falsely impeach a president twice in one term, once after he left office. Both attempts failed.

They are the people who continued their lawfare against the same president, changing laws to allow a ginned up civil suit and an to invent a new felony out of what was a simple procedural violation and charge him with 34 counts based on accounting entries. Both cases were tried in Manhattan.

They are the judges who demanded the respondent to be physically present in court, preventing him from participating in his own campaign for president.

They are the people who continue to lie and traffic in debunked propaganda about a sitting president.

They are the people who sued to keep a candidate they didnโ€™t like off the presidential ballot.

They are the people who used โ€œpublic healthโ€ laws to claim dictatorial power and shut down a national economy and lock people in their homes.

They are the people who mandated an experimental vaccine be used on people who didnโ€™t want to take it.

They are the people who banned any questioning or dissent of the vaccine or the mandates. They shut down church services, prevented families from being with their dying relatives, or attending their funerals โ€“ unless you were mourning the death of the career criminal, George Floyd.

They are the people who called violent riots, looting, and arson โ€œmostly peaceful.โ€

They are the people who cancelled others and openly campaigned for censorship while manufacturing tidal waves of lies.

They are the people who claimed (and still do) that questioning anomalies in elections is heresy, even as they question elections they lose.

They are the people who elected mentally incapacitated man, who only deteriorated further, to the presidency while ruling as a cabal behind the scenes.

They are the people who worked with national media to hide the mental and physical decline of a president.

They are the people who drew their funding from kickbacks from billions of grants to crooked NGOs.

They are the people who support the commission of fraud at an epidemic level โ€“ if you are a member of a โ€œprotectedโ€ group, of course.

They are pro-criminals because they deny individual responsibility and believe crime is a social construct.

These are people who demand other โ€œbelieve the scienceโ€ while denying biological reality, using mentally ill people as a foil to advance their agenda in the name of โ€œkindnessโ€.

They are the Hamas-allied Jew haters.

They are the people who want to pack the Supreme Court, abolish the Senate and the Presidency, eliminate private property, shutter prisons, confiscate wealth, and enslave a nation because they think โ€œsocialismโ€ means being nice.

They are misanthropic, misogynistic, and misandrist. At their roots, they are disgusted by their own existence.

They are the people who cheered assassination attempts on Donald Trump and rally around successful assassins of people whom they donโ€™t like.

They are the people who murdered Charlie Kirk.

Yeah, I know who they are.

You do, too, and because you do, you know this list is woefully incomplete.

But it is enough to vote against any person or party that has any of these characteristics because they are evil, and I donโ€™t use that term lightly.

Never forget that we get what we allow.
