The rest of us can recognize that yes, the republicans did suck. They sucked at a lot. They’re a bunch of corrupt bums who squandered the greatest comeback in political history. They did a bunch of dumb crap. And the stuff they were right on, they did a shitty job explaining their actions to the people. HOWEVER, the other side is still so much worse. I’ll take dumb and corrupt over actively maliciously working hard to destroy me, everyone I love, and everything I hold dear.
But people are stupid and short sighted. Gas is expensive so let’s vote for the party that shuts down refineries and makes gas expensive even when we’re not at war. Whatever. I can’t figure people out.
Everybody else, get your personal shit together as much as possible. Next two years will suck. After that America will have to decide if we want the Supreme Court packed, no borders, and enough illegals and dead people voting to ensure eternal one party rule forever.
Please spare me the whole sanctimonious crying in the comments about how you are too pure to vote for the lesser of two evils. You live on Earth. In the real world the primaries are where you pick your best, and you have the luxury of worrying about character and morals. After that you’re an adult, and you hold your nose and vote for the a-hole who is going to vote for stuff you want, or against the a-hole who will vote to ruin you. If that’s still too complicated, vote against the guy who’s supporters will shoot you or burn your home down for disagreeing with them.
Democrats abide by this basic principle. That’s why they win. In Texas the scumbag R lost to a gay communist weirdo D. But in Michigan the from all accounts the fairly plain vanilla R lost to a psychopath D who is friends with literal terrorists.

Brother, we are dealing with literal communists, the all time world champions of doing absolutely anything to achieve victory, no matter what laws they need to break, or how many million people they need to kill… and they are currently in an alliance with militant Islamists, who also have zero moral compunction about taking your shit and killing people in order to reach their goals. History has demonstrated that either of these will gleefully throw open the floodgates to hell. Your traditions and norms mean nothing to them.
