The Ebb And Flow Of Right And Wrong
This stopped being about Republicans and Democrats long ago. The Democrats are not the party that they were decades ago. Their move away from the center started slowly, even at times inconspicuously; however, starting with Barack Obama’s election in 2009, they have accelerated the move to the left at a frightening pace, and it has now reached the point where they are no longer trying to hide it; in fact, they are pushing the radicalism with obstinate arrogance.
I know some Democrats, and when I ask them how they can embrace a party that believes in abortion up to birth, encourages the transgender mental illness, approves of men not only participating in women’s sports, but also approves of men using the same bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers with women and girls.
A party that promotes drag shows for children and fights to have sexually explicit books in elementary and middle schools, yet when a concerned parent reads excerpts from those same books at a school board or community meeting, they are removed by security or the police.
A party that refuses to even define what a woman is. A party that has changed college admissions and corporate hiring practices into a quota system that uses skin color, as long as the color isn’t white, or sexual identity over merit.
A party that refuses to make election integrity a priority. A party that doesn’t understand the difference between an immigrant and an illegal. A party that hates ICE for enforcing constitutional law, and that, in fact, protects illegals. A party that wants to downsize or completely eliminate police. A party that, in blue states and cities, is notorious for having revolving-door justice systems where liberal judges hand down light sentences or no sentences at all to dangerous criminals.
A party that embraces Muslim candidates who openly associate with people who ridicule the United States and some who threaten to destroy it. Others can’t hide their deep-seated hatred for Israel and Jews.
So how can they govern in a country they secretly despise, and how can they be fair when they loathe a portion of the population?
Here’s where the paradox comes in, and it is the part I can’t get my head around.
The Democrats that I know claim they don’t agree with any of those things. Many say they just hate Trump and that’s why they vote Democrat. Which is the sickest thing I’ve ever heard, but it is right on track for a party with as many tragic flaws as the current-day Democrats.
All the people who voted for Democrats and feel the same way as the individuals I know are admitting that they hate Trump more than they love the country. They sacrificed their vote to TDS.
The Republicans certainly aren’t blameless in this debacle. They should have dug in their heels and refused to play along with the idiocy of the left. They should have made more noise and demanded a return to normalcy. Instead, by remaining compliant with the madness, the left continued to be emboldened.
With their election wins, the Democrats now have what they value more than anything else … power. Will they make life better for average Americans? Of course not.
They will pursue every perceived slight as an opportunity to seek vengeance. They will spin their wheels, foam at the mouth, and spew threats at President Trump and every other Republican whom they imagine to be a threat to their lunacy.
Get ready to hear the word impeachment, and many other false accusations repeated over and over by Democrats and their puppets, the MSM. Through the fire and brimstone, will taxes get lower? No. Will prices on groceries, gas, or anything else be drastically reduced? No.
The Democrats won, but for all the wrong reasons. Now, while they gloat, the country will suffer.
It’s the ebb and flow of right and wrong.
Whether the left wants to admit it or not, there is a normal, and normal is good.
Madness was never meant to reign supreme, and the Democrats are about to prove that point.
Radicals are playing out the string, and the string won’t be that long.
