The America First Victory in Iowa

The Iowa Caucus is now a wrap, and the 2024 Presidential cycle is under way!

President Trump is now the official winner of the Iowa Caucus! With 99% of the vote in, President Trump received 51% of the vote and acquired 20 delegates for the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary.

Additionally, President Trump won 98 of the 99 counties in Iowa.

By the end of the night, President Trump won the Iowa Caucus in fairly convincing fashion. He finished roughly 30% ahead of the 2nd-place finisher Ron DeSantis–despite Trump spending significantly less time and resources in Iowa than DeSantis. In one tweet, Human Events editor Jack Posobiec summed up the vast amount of wasted money spent on the DeSantis and Haley campaigns–only for them to finish 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Going into the Iowa Caucus, all the major polls predicted that President Trump would defeat his Republican challengers in Iowa. That being said, President Trump’s victory is still nonetheless impressive when you consider one fact: the GOP Establishment is still against Trump.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, Iowa Evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats, and many “Conservative Inc” media figures (e.g. Steve Deace, Dana Loesch, etc) endorsed Ron DeSantis and campaigned extensively for him. Most of the GOP Establishment megadonors (like Ken Griffin and the Koch brothers) supported Nikki Haley after ditching Ron DeSantis’s campaign last year. With more Establishment support than Trump, ad spending in Iowa for DeSantis and Haley was roughly DOUBLE the amount spent by the Trump campaign.

With little Establishment GOP/megadonor support, Trump still dominated the competition.

Overall, the 2024 Iowa Caucus speaks to the strength of President Trump’s influence on the Republican party. Due to President Trump, the GOP is no longer the party of “Forever Wars” and offshoring American industry. The GOP is no longer the party of globalist billionaires and bloodthirsty war-hawks. Instead, President Trump realigned the Republican party to an “America First”, nationalist party. A party that rejects mass immigration and globalist trade policies. A party that embraces nationalism and populism.

The America First movement achieved a significant victory with Trump’s victory in Iowa. So, let’s hope and pray that President Trump’s momentum continues into the New Hampshire primary and later into the Presidential election in November.

To close out today’s article, I wanted to share some of the major coping from the DeSantis crowd on Twitter (X). The paid DeSantis shills have been unbearable for the past year, and many of them betrayed President Trump in 2021/2022 when they thought he was no longer political viable. The DeSantis influencers have unfairly attacked/smeared President Trump and MAGA supporters for quite a while, so it’s high time to call them out for the unacceptable behavior. So, feel free to check out some of the funniest posts coming from the DeSantis camp over the past few days:

The Iowa Caucus was the first step in a grueling, 10 month sprint until the Presidential election. So, get ready for one final ride with the leader of the America First movement: President Donald J Trump!
