WATCH: Trump says he would have avoided Ukraine war

President Donald Trump spoke about the Biden administration’s handling of the Russia-Ukraine war, stating that the conflict could have been avoided if America was under stronger leadership.

In an interview, Trump asserted that Russia’s aggression noticeably escalated under certain past administrations.

“Under Bush, they took a lot. Under Obama, they took a lot. Under Biden, they’re trying to take the whole thing,” Trump said. “Under Trump, they took nothing.”

Trump lamented the destruction of Ukraine’s historic sites, calling the war a tragedy.

“A lot of people are dead right now that should be alive,” Trump stated.

He expressed concern for Ukraine’s cultural loss.

“Those beautiful golden domes, multicolor domes that were a thousand years old, they’re all shattered,” he said. “It’s very sad. They ruined the culture.”
