Clown World carries on in 2025: February 2025 edition
Hello all, welcome back to my long-running series here on RVIVR: the “Adventures in Clown World”!
I unfortunately missed the first month of the year to kickstart this series for 2025. Nevertheless, I thought that now would still be a good time to catch-up by writing my first entry in this series for 2025.
Now, my goal will be to go back to writing more overall for RVIVR in the coming months than I have in the previous month or so—besides continuing this series. So, stay tuned for more content this month going forward.
Without further ado, let’s dive into the February 2025 edition of the “Adventures in Clown World” series.
#1 The Epstein Files “Nothingburger“
At the end of last month, the Trump administration promised to provide bombshell information that the America people have long desired. Ever since the unexplained death of alleged human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in 2019, the American people have longed to know about the extensive network of powerful, elite individuals connected to Epstein.
After repeated promises to release the Epstein files during the 2024 presidential campaign, the Trump administration oddly decided to release a tranche of the Epstein files by providing the file exclusively to several Twitter/social media personalities—including DC Draino, Scott Pressler, Libs of Tik Tok, and Jack Posobiec (before the files were eventually released to the public).
Despite all the fanfare, the supposed “release” of the Epstein files media spectacle turned out to be an absolute dud. In short, the released Epstein files did NOT provide any new, breaking information to the public. Additionally, nearly all of the information in the recently released Epstein files on the DOJ website is unreadable. Many of the pages in the files are heavily redacted—providing little to no information for readers.
Many of the leading figures of the “America First” movement lambasted the failed rollout of the Epstein files. Certainly, plenty of people in the MAGA sphere are unhappy with the “Epstein Files nothingburger”.
The Epstein Files debacle has severely damaged the 2nd Trump administration’s reputation among the MAGA faithful. Many people now wonder if justice will ever come for Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplices for the many alleged crimes associated with this human trafficking enterprise.
In the end, the Epstein files is just another instance of how the “America Last” globalist elites running our society always seem to evade punishment—whether that be Epstein Files or the COVID-19 lockdowns.
#2 Mainstream Media Darling Joy Reid MELTS DOWN
It’s been no secret that the American media landscape is undergoing drastic changes. Over the past few years, many major media outlets have laid off significant portions of their staff. Both print and televised media outlets alike are struggling to remain profitable in the modern, decentralized media landscape.
Last month, MSNBC cancelled one its better known television hosts: Joy Reid. The far-left media network fired Reid from her late night time slot after holding down a primetime timeslot (7pm ET) for roughly five years. According to the Daily Mail, Joy Reid’s weeknight show was absolutely tanking after the 2024 US Presidential election. Reid’s show and other MSNBC shows had struggled to stop their weak ratings from collapsing any further after Donald Trump’s resounding victory in the 2024 election.
Of course, Joy Reid posted a video online of herself crying and acting hysterically after losing her MSNBC gig. Townhall.com shared Reid’s meltdown on Twitter/X for your enjoyment, so feel free to check out Reid’s video below:
So long, Joy Reid. You won’t be missed as a major attraction of “Clown World”.
#3 USAID cuts reveal MAJOR wasteful spending
On a closing note for today’s article, I thought it would make sense to briefly cover the USAID spending controversy during the 1st full month of the 2nd Trump administration.
The 2nd Trump administration has specifically targeted the wasteful spending coming from the US Federal government’s behemoth annual budget. One of the most blatant examples of the wasteful spending coming from the US Federal government was the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). USAID has reportedly spent billions of US tax dollars on projects spreading far-left ideological priorities all across the globe.
The tweet below from popular Twitter/X user Mario Nawfal has shared some of the worst spending coming from USAID:
Due to the large swathes of wasteful spending coming from USAID, the 2nd Trump administration decided to eliminate more than one thousand positions from this government department at the end of last month. While the USAID cuts are a welcome development, only in “Clown World” could a government department like USAID be allowed to waste billions of our tax dollars for years on end until 2025.
