Something Worse Than Listening To Kamala … Paying For It

Some things can make you shake your head in disbelief. I was horrified during the last presidential campaign every time Kamala Harris spoke. Her nonsensical word salads and endless eerie cackling were reminiscent of a mindless, wicked witch, and the thought of her being anywhere near the Oval Office was frightening.

Listening to her was bad enough, but watching Harris and her wild hand gestures was intolerable. I deliberately avoided watching her anytime she was on television for any reason. Trying to rationalize that she was running for the highest office in the world didn’t compute in my mind. I kept asking myself, “How could we have fallen so far as to have Harris as a candidate, and how in God’s name could anyone even consider voting for her?”

Harris naturally lost the election and has now made the ill-fated decision to charge people to watch her speak at Emerge America’s 20th Anniversary Gala in San Francisco.

On Monday, Emerge America announced Harris as the keynote speaker for today’s event, highlighting her as a “special guest” to commemorate the organization’s milestone and discuss the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s administration. An interesting choice since Harris is the least qualified person on the face of the earth, besides Biden himself, to speak coherently on any subject.

However, there is a catch. If you’re not in San Francisco, and who would want to be after Newsome destroyed it, you can buy a digital ticket to livestream the speech for $25

Yep, you read that right: $25 to watch Kamala Harris, the poster child for the Peter Principal, ramble on as if she’s some kind of late-night pitch person trying to sell you that the Biden administration wasn’t a complete nightmare on every front.

The ticket prices listed on Emerge’s Every Action page are ridiculous. Prime tables, which seat ten, at the in-person event range from laughable $5,000 to an insane $50,000.

Mockery on X was swift and merciless, highlighting Harris’s decline since her November landslide election loss to President Donald Trump.

The message is clear: Harris never was politically relevant, and her desperate attempt at relevance now makes her anticipated bid for governor of California even more disturbing.

Why would anyone pay to watch a livestream of a failed political candidate with no realistic future in politics? Her campaign was a disaster, characterized by incoherent messaging and a complete inability to distance herself from former President Joe Biden’s unpopular tenure.

It is unclear whether Harris even has general support from Democrats, since she has become one of many symbols of the party’s recent electoral failures.

Emerge America, which trains Democratic women to run for office, apparently thought Harris’ name still carried weight, which shows you how out of touch they are. Being voted the worst vice president in history and bombing in November should have been somewhat of a hint.

Her vice presidency was a prime example of underachievement, characterized by awkward sound bites and her failure to effectively address key issues like the border crisis. Now, she is charging a minimum of $25 for what will assuredly be more word salads with no dressing.

The $50,000 tables are even more absurd. Does Harris truly believe she’s worthy of attracting any high rollers after her campaign circled the drain with a loud FLUSH? That said, these are Democrats, and this current crop of decision makers couldn’t find their asses with both hands and a map.

Then again, maybe this is a passive-aggressive stunt to prove to Harris that the limelight is not in her future. Harris’s is beyond irrelevant. She’s a perfect Democrat, but even they have bottom dwellers.

Harris’ plan to attack Trump’s 100th day in office is laughingly pathetic. She’s criticizing the man she couldn’t defeat. But hey, she might be able to rustle up 25 bucks for her comedy show.

There is a dark closet somewhere with Harris’s name on it. Democrats need to find it and hide her away. Hopefully, they will locate a big one. Harris is going to have plenty of company over the next decade and beyond.
