Why Even Most Democrats Who Agree with Trump are Still Afraid to Work with Him

Many on the left in America have become violent and nasty. From sabotaging town halls to burning cities and even firebombing Tesla Dealerships, the radicals who oppose Trump have become increasingly dangerous over the last decade, with the assassination attempt on the President in Butler also one of the best examples of this disturbing pattern. The totalitarian nature of these far-left groups that have taken over the Democratic party is very similar to the vile movement in China seen during the Cultural Revolution, or more recently in Canada, where laws were passed imposing criminal penalties on people who don’t use pronouns and other types of language. The radical left controls today’s failing and incompetent Democratic party.

When President Trump ran against Biden he asked the senile and incompetent former President would be a trojan horse for the far-left. Trump was right. Biden pursued extreme policies from open borders, to reckless spending, and his administration’s actions also directly contributed to multiple conflicts both in the Middle East as well as with the war between Russia and Ukraine. The left has always been good at organizing and engaging in violence, but these individuals have never been able to govern effectively. The failed Biden administration was yet another example of this tried and true fact.

This is why the statements by some individuals about the fear politicians have of President Trump are yet another example of the Democrat’s gaslighting. There are many Republicans who have opposed Trump since he was elected in 2016. Former Senator Mitt Romney and Senator Lisa Murkowski voted to remove him from power during the fraudulent impeachment process, Mueller, who of course led the disgusting investigation into Trump’s nonexistent ties to Russia, was a Republican as well. Former Governor Chris Christie and fired national security advisor John Bolton have been fierce critics of the President as well.

While Republicans have spot out against Trump, very few Democrats have been willing to stand up to many of the vile far-left individuals even when these people and groups have engaged in organized violence. Most Democrats refused to condemn the race riots after George Floyd’s tragic death, and few on the left even spoke out against the organized recent attacks on Elon Musk’s car dealerships. When Pennsylvania Senator Fetterman met with Trump after the President won in 2024, he was condemned. Gavin Newsom was similarly attacked by these extremists for simply having Steven Bannon on his podcast.

Even though Bernie Sanders lost his run for the Presidency in 2016, the progressives have slowly taken over the Democratic party since then, and the moderates on the left are far more afraid of these extremists than any Republican or conservative worries about Trump. The irony is that while radicals on the left like to use intimidation and fear to control Democrats who don’t act in accordance with their goals, the President uses his media platform on X and other outlets to try to persuade. The real reason most Republicans don’t speak out against Trump is not fear, but the fact that the President has the overwhelming support of his party. Trump has governed and led well, he has the confidence of both Republicans and the country as a whole, which is why attacking him will not work. Today’s Democratic leaders represent nobody and nothing, and until the few moderates left are willing to stand up to the radicals that control the party, Trump and his MAGA movement will continue to dominate American politics.
