America First Standard #15: Catching Another Swamp Creature in DC
Last week, Vanity Fair published a lengthy, two-part article series about White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. In these articles, writer Chris Whipple shared his on-the-record conversations with Trump administration leader Susie Wiles from throughout 2025.
For context, the writer of these articles (Chris Whipple) is obviously a liberal partisan based on the content of his writing and his legacy media appearances. Despite Whipple’s partisan slant, his articles still shed light an concerning development within the MAGA political movement in recent years.
The excerpt below from Susie Wiles’s conversations with Whipple should be a clear reminder that Susie Wiles is a lifelong political swamp creature:
“We [Wiles and Whipple] often spoke on Sundays after church. Wiles, an Episcopalian, calls herself “Catholic lite.” One time we spoke while she was doing her laundry in her Washington, DC, rental. Trump, she told me, “has an alcoholic’s personality.” Vance’s conversion from Never Trumper to MAGA acolyte, she said, has been “sort of political.” The vice president, she added, has been “a conspiracy theorist for a decade.” Russell Vought, architect of the notorious Project 2025 and head of the Office of Management and Budget, is “a right-wing absolute zealot.” When I asked her what she thought of Musk reposting a tweet about public sector workers killing millions under Hitler, Stalin, and Mao, she replied: “I think that’s when he’s microdosing.” (She says she doesn’t have first-hand knowledge.)“
Besides that concerning excerpt, Susie Wiles also defended the corrupt USAID and criticized ICE agents to this liberal writer in the part 1 article of this series. At a cursory glance, one might be confused as to why President Trump’s Chief of Staff seems to hold many “America Last” policy positions and ties to Republican political establishment. However, a deep-dive into Susie Wiles’s background shows that her comments in the Vanity Fair piece should come at no surprise.
For those who don’t know, Susie Wiles is a longtime political operative in the Republican establishment political sphere in addition to her work as a lobbyist on behalf of globalist corporations. In fact, the two political lobbyist firms that Wiles worked for between 2017 and 2024 received millions of dollars for Wiles’s lobbying activity during that time span.
But besides her recent political lobbying, Wiles possesses a lengthy track record in her career in Republican politics. Early in her career, she worked for moderate establishment Republican politicians like Congressman Jack Kemp and campaigned for President George H.W. Bush in the 1970s and 1980s. In more recent years, she led the political campaigns for prominent Florida politicians like former Governor Rick Scott and current Governor Ron DeSantis.
Last year, Wiles served as the co-campaign manager for President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. During that time, I published an article here on RVIVR in August 2024 that discussed the establishment ties possessed by Wiles and her campaign colleague Chris LaCivita.
Overall, “America First” patriots should be highly concerned about the establishment’s capture of many influential positions within the 2nd Trump administration. Our nation cannot afford to have more Republican swamp creatures like Susie Wiles calling the shots in Washington DC.
