The NFL Shines In The Playoffs, But Its Light Is Starting To Dim

The NFL is a paradox. It appears its popularity is at an all-time high, but that popularity is on shakier ground than it seems, and the “shield,” as the League’s logo is called, continues to tarnish.

There is no argument that the league has gone woke. Since 2020, the NFL has been stenciling either “End Racism” or “It Takes All of Us” in end zones for all games. In addition, players have sayings such as “Choose Love” or “Inspire Change” on the back of their helmets.

Of course, this is after we, as fans, had to put up with players kneeling during the National Anthem, networks choosing not to even show the anthem before games, and the NFL allowing the so-called “black National Anthem,” “Lift Every Voice and Sing” to be played, basically mocking the REAL NATIONAL ANTHEM, just so no crybaby snowflakes had their feelings hurt.

Then, in their wisdom, the league decided to stick it to some of its fans by showing certain games only on Amazon Prime or the NFL Network, which is not included in many cable packages. It wasn’t bad enough that they continue to expand their global format, which strips teams of a home game, but what does the league care? These are just more indignities for fans to endure, so the league can chase the almighty dollar.

This week, Troy Vincent, the NFL’s Executive Vice President of Football Operations, participated in a panel discussion at the Stimson Center, hosted by a foreign affairs think tank. During the discussion, Vincent emphasized the NFL’s involvement in the 2028 Olympic Games, particularly its support for the United States’ flag football initiative. He also discussed efforts to expand the NFL’s presence internationally.

Still, the woke Vincent couldn’t stop himself from making derogatory remarks about the United States.

“The Games are gonna be the Games, but I think it’s, you’re really on a world stage now, so you got the biggest global stage and America’s number one sports property converging together.”

“But we’re also putting our brand, it’s the American public, on how the world truly perceives us coming out of our current conditions. I mean, every place that I go now, you know, you go, man, we got this reputation. I’m not a bully.”

“I’m on a plane, and once they find out you’re such-and-such, there are these perceptions that we all say, as athletes, we are painted with the same brush. I’m a proud American. I have challenges just like you do. My family has challenges just like you do.”

“But we got this global reputation that just makes you – and I did it – stay in your hotel room, cause you’re embarrassed. You don’t know what this is to people. Because that’s my country. And this is how we’re acting, and we’re better than that. I know the people that’s in this room, we’re better than that. So, it’s, I think about that LA piece and go, man, how are we going to show up? We got one chance. ‘Cause it may not ever come back.”

Think about what this clown said. If this is the best representation that the NFL can find, the league is in worse shape than even I believe it to be. He actually said that he stays in his hotel room because he is embarrassed to be recognized as an American.

Well, since Vincent brought it up, I’m embarrassed too. Not by what my country stands for, but by woke liberals and leftists like Vincent, who are trying to destroy it. Democrats who openly lie about the fact that men and women and boys and girls are different and instead target children as young as those in grade school with propaganda, which at first is meant to confuse them, then to convince them to mutilate themselves in hopes of achieving the unachievable.

Liberals who want wide-open borders, despite the proof that most are no longer coming for asylum, but rather to disrupt and divide, with no intention to assimilate and contribute to American society.

Leftists, who vilify ICE agents while protecting thugs and gangs who infiltrate drugs into our neighborhoods, and who have murdered far too many Americans. Illegals who rape innocent American women and girls, or illegals who are given driver’s licenses by blue states, even though they can’t read road signs, and cause horrific accidents that claim more innocent lives.

Are these brave law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day against these unruly animals, the “bullies” Vincent is referring to?

The NFL is enjoying the limelight, but if they don’t stop kowtowing to these radicals, they will be shocked at how quickly it can all unravel.

Vincent certainly doesn’t represent what the majority of America believes, so if he represents the NFL, that’s all you need to know about this once-patriotic league.
