Voters Need To “SNAP” Out Of The Democrat Daze, They Are Bleeding The Country Dry
Just eight days ago, I wrote a column titled “SNAP For Millionaires, It’s A Thing.”
In the column, I explained how the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which was designed to help individuals and families with low incomes purchase nutritious food. It is a federal program, but it’s managed by state agencies through local offices. You can qualify for SNAP benefits if you meet specific income and resource requirements.
Well, that was the idea at least. As we now know, blatant SNAP fraud is rampant across the country. For instance, over the past year, Minnesota has been singled out for massive SNAP fraud. Recent investigations in 2026 highlighted millions of dollars in suspected trafficking by retailers and cases of individual misuse.
In addition to fraud, there is also a legal loophole. A different method of scamming the government has been exposed, and it seems to have been going on for quite some time. The difference is that this program, known as BBCE, can even allow millionaires to get involved.
The BBCE loophole bypasses federal eligibility limits for income and assets. If you have too much money to qualify for SNAP benefits under typical guidelines, states still provide alternative options. There are currently 44 states participating in this loophole, and approximately one in five SNAP recipients holds $100,000 or more in assets.
The FGA estimates that over five million people enrolled in SNAP through BBCE do not meet traditional income or asset requirements. Every month, your tax dollars contribute to their grocery expenses.
As frustrating as this is, a recent revelation exposed by Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins rubs salt into an already gaping and painful wound.
Rollins posted on X, “In just ONE state, 14,000 individuals receiving SNAP benefits were driving LUXURY VEHICLES!”
Are we talking about people driving Lexuses? Oh no, she listed the luxury cars owned by food-stamp recipients, including Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Porsches, Alfa Romeos, Land Rovers, and Teslas.
Unbelievable. These are cars that sell for between $200,000 and $700,000.
Rollins posted:
“And this is just in ONE STATE. We need to defend our nutrition programs for those most in need, not for scammers gaming the system. 4.3M Americans have been moved off of SNAP — but more work to be done!”
Rollins did not disclose the specific state but mentioned that it is a red state. According to the Washington Times, Republican-led states are cooperating with the Department of Agriculture, while many Democrat-led states are suing the Trump administration to avoid participating in the investigation. If a red state has uncovered this level of fraud, one can only wonder what blue states, which have no culpability, might be hiding.
That in itself is very telling. Why would you sue an administration trying to expose fraud that is stealing money from taxpayers? Everyone knows the fraud exists, so why are Democrats trying to hide who is committing it?
Thanks to the Trump administration, not all of the SNAP news is bad. As Rollins explained, the reduction in SNAP participation largely resulted from two factors: the economy and the One Big Beautiful Bill.
“And then a lot of it is just a better economy. We’ve had a wage growth that has outpaced inflation for the first time since early 2021.”
“This is a really big day. So, people don’t need food stamps.”
Between January 2025 and July 2025, about 815,000 people left the SNAP rolls. Then, from August through January, more than 3.2 million people stopped getting SNAP benefits.
Rollins stated that the Big Beautiful Bill:
“tackles the fraud and waste that has run rampant. The bill holds states accountable for their error rates, strengthens work requirements, and prevents illegal aliens from receiving SNAP.”
It’s disgusting that Democrats not only allowed illegals to pour into our country, dragging down our economy, but they also left the SNAP money faucet wide open and gleefully watched as billions of dollars disappeared down the drain of fraud.
Trump slammed the door on illegal immigration, and despite the best efforts of Democrats to thwart his plan to bring back accountability, he is chipping away at the Democrats’ wall of secrecy and exposing what they have been hiding.
It’s infuriating to realize that the Democratic-run states, even now, are fighting to protect the fraudulent activity taking place within their borders. Somehow these snollygosters have to be held accountable.
