General Flynn Calls Out Nikki Haley’s Ignorance on Foreign Affairs
Over the weekend the United Nations voted overwhelmingly in favor of a humanitarian truce in Gaza, passing by a whopping 120-14 count.
Of course the United States and Israel were two of the fourteen countries that voted against it.
The adopted resolution calls for an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to a cessation of hostilities” and “firmly rejects any attempts at the forced transfer of the Palestinian civilian population”.
It also stresses the need to avoid a wider escalation of the fighting and demands increased humanitarian aid for Gaza, where only a small handful of trucks carrying aid have been allowed to enter over the last week….
The resolution calls for the immediate release of all civilians being held hostage and condemns “all acts of terrorism and indiscriminate attacks” including those on Israeli civilians, but does not name Hamas specifically.
This development is not a surprise, and it certainly doesn’t bind involved countries to stand down. It does, however, give some idea of where the world is as a collective concerning this brewing world war and its political posture toward the West. I also include it here only as a bit of a broader backdrop to Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s tweet about war in Ukraine and Israel and General Michael Flynn’s response to it.
Some publications make a point to introduce Flynn as “Trump-Era NSA,” which of course stands for National Security Advisor. Without delving into whether or not this is some attempted jab by the Mockingbird media at Flynn because of his association with Trump, I would like to remind the reader that whatever Donald Trump was doing for four years from a foreign policy standpoint worked. He entered us into exactly zero wars, and the geopolitical landscape was silent compared to what it has been since February 2022, despite Mockingbird‘s efforts in 2017 and beyond to paint him as a warmonger and potential firestarter of World War III himself.
Yeah, well, none of that happened. But it sure did happen on Mockingbird‘s darling Democrat’s watch.
There is obviously an enormous faction of America First patriots who have rejected Bush Republicanism, tired of endless wars that only funnel money back and forth between Washington and God knows where. Vivek Ramaswamy, an open supporter of President Trump‘s work in office, is one of them.
Flynn’s tweet was shared by rival GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who has expressed concerns about a potential Israeli ground invasion into Gaza, suggesting it could have adverse implications for both Israel and the U.S.
Flynn’s remarks come amidst a broader debate among GOP presidential candidates about America’s global role and its stance on conflicts such as the Israel-Hamas war. Candidates have been outlining their perspectives and critiquing the Biden administration’s approach.

Many of us have been saying what General Flynn is alluding to concerning Ukraine. His comment about endless wars costing trillions, killing millions, and making politicians like Haley billions is something else RVIVR has been sounding the alarm on, not only in the Ukraine articles, but in many others, including “To the American Government: Get Out of Israel’s Way.”
This neocon identity is nothing new for Haley. Here is a snippet from a June 2023 article:
When the former United Nations ambassador and South Carolina governor announced that she was running for president in February, there was little wonder as to what kind of foreign policy she would promote. Throughout her tenure in the Trump administration and even before, Haley has never shied away from presenting herself as a George W. Bush-style Republican who sees all wars as struggles for freedom that must be won at any cost and despite any costs.
Or as the New York Times described her town hall: “Ms. Haley’s positions were a throwback to typical Republican Party stances before its populist takeover by Mr. Trump.”
No doubt. This would put Haley in the same camp with former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and former Vice President Mike Pence, who announce their presidential runs this week, all dedicated hawks who would serve as the old guardians of the Bush-Cheney GOP in the primaries.
In contrast, the Republican trio most in favor of restraint (at least in words, and on the Ukraine front), would be former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and long shot candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
Before Trump, I didn’t know anything else but endless conflicts across the globe. I didn’t know it was even possible for the US to avoid them. Trump point blank showed Americans not only that it is possible, but that it is actually the optimal posture for us as a nation. Peace through strength is absolutely attainable, and one man that Nikki Haley is now going after in typical political fashion proved that for anyone willing to see it.
How are the Nikki Haleys of our country planning to bring peace to the world? Their words are eerily similar to the Bush era, empty promises and platitudes none of us should trust anymore. Her tweet above is the typical bullying language that echoes “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists,” a classic spin from Bush just nine days after the 9/11 attack.
I was actually drinking the Bush Kool-Aid back then and have confessed it in many of my recent articles. I made that choice because I couldn’t see beyond the binary trap, the false either-or reasoning, the simplistic duality the manipulator in front of me with an “R” after his name was presenting.
Many Americans have been experiencing a similar dilemma in recent weeks.
When I wrote that first Israel-Hamas article on October 10 for the American government to stay out of Israel’s way, I challenged readers to pay attention to the money and the politics in the coming weeks and months. The answer has already become clear and was predictable from the start: America is most certainly not getting out of Israel’s way. Our new House Speaker seems intent on “bifurcating aid” to both Israel and Ukraine. Warmongers like Haley and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) are doing their very best to gaslight Americans into thinking that this “support” is necessary to eradicate the terrorists. For the world, so much of it looks like the same old rhetoric we’ve heard before.
“Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists,” he said. They said. They continue to say it.
Just stop it. I believe General Flynn would agree with me.
Nikki Haley does not at all have the moral high ground here, not after Americans have witnessed the last two-plus decades of Bush Republicanism and the debacle that played out in Afghanistan. Her words are canned platitudes that could have been written by a Bush speech writer, and once again I say it–we would do well not to fall for this insidious manipulation that hides behind a veil of patriotism and preys on well-meaning conservatives. Do you see the trap? This isn’t about Republican vs Democrat. This isn’t about America/Israel vs the world. Americans–especially ones who love their country–are caught in the unenviable position of wanting to side against the Hamas terrorists but of also having to admit that both the US and Israeli governments and intelligence agencies stink to high heaven and have stunk for a long time….
This is why much of the world disrespects and even hates us. “We” as a collective want to go policing the globe, but we’re not even willing to look in the mirror and police ourselves. We’re not even willing to condemn in a legal, public sphere the crimes of war and crimes against children committed by the Obamas and Bushes of our very own backyard.
We have to understand that in the eyes of the world, it is Obama and Bush that are “America” too. It isn’t just Trump and America First, and that is what so many citizens, especially well-meaning patriots, don’t think about. They fall for the binary trap of “America, good guys” vs “Anyone else that goes against us, bad guys” when a tragedy like this takes place while just two days ago they were b*tching about America going down the tubes under Biden for the thousandth time.
It is a tribalism and a conditioning we must break if we are to escape the prison we’re in.
Everything is playing out as predicted. Americans–especially well-meaning conservative patriots–must realize that just because there are two sides of the aisle does not mean we have to jump threw hoops of flames to fit our personal opinions into either of them. If it’s good enough for a military man like General Michael Flynn, it can be good enough for us. The man speaks sense, he knows war, and as an extra bonus, the establishment has already tried to destroy him.
To conservatives who want to “Stand With Israel” no matter the price and no matter the human atrocities: Stop making your fellow conservatives the enemy when the blueprint for world peace has been delivered on a silver platter by the man who, if all things are even, is going to receive the Republican nomination for president, and you will likely be voting for him this time next fall. You won’t be voting for Nikki Haley anyway, not her or her foreign policy. She is a pathetic part of a crumbling old guard that just needs to be vanquished once and for all. Democrats shouldn’t annoy us nearly as much as these Republicans who continue to try to manipulate our patriotism and sense of duty to help the world. As the “villain” Clyde Shelton says in the movie Law Abiding Citizen, to the character who is a part of the system that makes deals with criminals instead of doing the right thing, the whole diseased corrupt temple needs to come down on their heads. And it needs to come down on them now.
May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
