President Trump Took a Bullet for Us, and It Changes Everything
In an earlier piece on rvivr.com, I pondered whether Donald Trump was protected by Divine Providence.
Saturday’s assassination attempt on the president’s life only serves to further validate that belief.
Endless Persecution
The persecution of the President has been relentless, and it started before he took office. In 2016, Democrats concocted a scheme to create a scandal predicated on a knowingly fake premise that Trump colluded with Russia to rig the 2016 election. The ultimate perversion of our legal system involved a feedback loop where Democrat operatives released fake information to the media, who would publish it, and then the same operatives would use the media stories as “evidence” to persuade FISA courts to authorize surveillance of Trump and his campaign.
What was their objective?
They hoped that during the wiretaps they would uncover some unrelated dirt on Trump they could use to drive him out of the White House.
Four years of the fake Russia collusion investigations and two phony impeachments followed. One was related to a request Trump made of Ukraine President Zelenskyy to look into the billion dollar extortion threat Biden used to force the firing of prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma, a gas and oil company paying Hunter Biden handsomely for something, but certainly not his expertise in fossil fuel. The other fake impeachment was related to a “get out the vote” phone call Trump had with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger during the 2020 election.
When the dust settled, and Biden became president, woke leftists thought they were through with Trump for good, and the Deep State breathed a sigh of relief. However, their euphoria was short-lived as Trump made it clear immediately after the 2022 election cycle he was going to run again in 2024.
Thus, the left unleashed their vicious, immoral lawfare persecution. The indictments for inciting an insurrection, holding classified documents and falsifying business records resulted in 34 bogus felony convictions so far, but everyone, including the people who perpetrated the sham, knows they all were entirely politically motivated.
The civil case, which was perhaps the most egregious example of weaponization of the judicial system, stemmed from a supposed overstatement of assets on construction loan applications. The most absurdly laughable moment in that case was when the supposed “victims” stated they made a lot of money on the loans and hoped the Trump organization would continue to do business with them in the future.
However, after levying a nearly $500 million fine and suspending Trump’s business licenses, leftist hack judge, Arthur Engoron, demanded Trump put up the entire $500 million as a bond before he would grant appeal. This was designed to force Trump to sell off illiquid real estate assets at bargain fire-sale prices.
Yet, as always seems to happen, Trump is somehow bailed out. Check the share price of DJT lately? Trump has almost doubled his net worth, and his new found wealth is very liquid. The bond was made, and the case is very likely to be overturned on appeal or dropped entirely, as is the case with the others.
The Sacrifices of One Great Man
The vile and disgusting effort to break Trump financially and put him in prison was accompanied by a stream of relentless vitriol. For eight years the left has routinely characterized Trump as “Hitler,” “Mussolini,” a “fascist,” a “dictator,” a “racist” and a “threat to our democracy.”
They paint a picture of someone who will place African Americans in chains, outlaw abortions, ban homosexuality, kill illegal aliens and take money from the poor and give it to the rich.
The unremitting, dehumanizing bombardment reached its crescendo last Saturday, when a deranged man opened fire on the president at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. President Trump was only grazed during the assassination attempt, and by the grace of God, survived. Experts say that the bullet was millimeters away from penetrating his skull.
Trump Took a Bullet for Us
If anyone doubted the purity of Trump’s heart, all questions were answered the second that bullet struck him in the head. Through all the investigations, indictments, impeachments and political persecutions, he has remained steadfast in his resolve. Not because it benefits him. As a 78-year-old man who has led an extraordinary life, Trump has nothing to prove to anyone. Most certainly, playing golf and enjoying his family would be a far more peaceful and joyous way to live out his remaining years.
Instead, he shrugs off an assassination attempt and grinds on.
Up until Saturday, a small part of me questioned if Trump’s primary motive in pursuing the presidency was to save America as he always claimed, or rather, if a larger part of the pursuit centered on what sometimes appeared to be a need for the grandiose attention and the inherent obsequiousness that comes with holding the office.
I wonder no more.
Anyone who would endure the almost biblical level of persecution that Trump has suffered and still continue on must have something deep inside that’s so compelling he has no choice but to follow it to its. I am completely convinced there is something much, much larger going on inside Donald Trump and the people that are part of the movement he created. This man is completely driven by a need to save his country and ensure the forces of leftist authoritarianism are defeated forever.
Donald Trump took a bullet for us, and from that moment forward, everything has changed.
