Trump’s Recent Action on Pardons Shows America Still Doesn’t Know Who was Running the Country During the Biden Administration

There’s always a delicate balance in politics between looking backward and remaining focused on the future. Those who don’t understand history are bound to repeat it, but as the Democrats learned in 2024, elections are almost always more about the future than the past. While the pathetic and corrupt legacy media has constantly tried to frame Trump as wanting to get retribution on his political enemies, the reality is the President has always just wanted a fair political and justice system.

The Democrats weaponized the Justice Department in ways not seen before in US history, and many of the corrupt and unethical actions taken by Federal attorneys as well as some individuals in the FBI likely violated Federal as well as other laws. Holding people accountable isn’t about seeking revenge, and seeking justice and making sure those who break the law know there will be consequences is important for setting a strong precendent moving forward as well. Trump has no plans to seek revenge, but he should hold people accountable who sought to politicize the FBI and the Justice Department, as well as those individuals on the January 6th committee who may have broken the law.

The country needs to know that fairness has been restored in the judicial system, and the left has to be put on notice that there actions will not go unpunished. There needs to be a credible deterrent against the despicable behavior that occurred under the corrupt Biden administration. While Democrats could obviously challenge Trump’s actions in court, the individuals bringing the lawsuit would have to prove Biden knew about these orders, and that seems to not be the case. Trump is likely voiding these pardons in part to dare the left to challenge the validity of the use of auto-pen for both pardons and executive orders, which we now know Biden likely had little to no knowledge about.

This is why Trump’s recent action to declare the last-minute pardons of General Milley, Congresswomen Cheney, and Dr. Fauci, void, is a critical step towards restorative justice that should also provide more transparency to the public. The President stated that an auto pen was used and also that Biden may not have even known about these pardons being issued on his behalf. There is a strong basis to believe Biden did not know about these orders. Majority leader Mike Johnson recently publicly told a story about asking Biden in the oval about an executive order banning natural gas exports to Europe. Biden claimed to not even be aware of this order, and he needed his secretary to print out a copy so that the former President could be aware that such an executive order was signed.

Former President Biden was suffering from obvious and serious cognitive decline even before he became President. He was incoherent in the first debate against Trump, and forced to drop out of the race shortly after. Biden was clearly not running the country, and the fact auto pen was clearly used for a number of both executive orders and pardons raises serious questions about whether or not the President was even told about these actions being taken on his behalf before these orders were issued. Americans deserve to know who was actually making decisions during the Biden Administration.

As corrupt as Biden and his family are, the biggest scandal of his administration is that he clearly was never even running the country to begin with. The failing legacy media was also complicit in one of the biggest cover-ups in American history as Biden was positioned as a figurehead while the far-left and bureaucrats ran the country into the ground. Obviously, Trump would not and shouldn’t take action to seek retribution, the President should hold those accountable who broke the law, and he should also take action to make the people aware of exactly who was running the country into the ground during Biden’s years. While Trump is focused on the future, sometimes you need to look back to understand the best path forward.
