When Liberals Suddenly Start Quoting Jesus
It’s always entertaining whenever I get into arguments with liberals I know in Tennessee over the topic of Christina Pike — they start hollering “What would Jesus do?”
These are the same liberals who are always screaming and hollering about Christian nationalists and the threat they supposedly pose to Tennessee and the rest of the United States.
I say Christina Pike needs to be put to death immediately, regardless of her surviving last week’s execution attempt. And then these same liberals start lecturing me about Jesus and how Jesus taught us to forgive.

They lecture me about Jesus helping the poor when I say Obamacare and welfare and unvetted illegal immigration do the United States more bad in the long run than they do good.
Yet if I said that the federal government should welcome every illegal immigrant at the border with a Bible and also pass out Bibles to welfare and Obamacare recipients then…well….they would lose their ever-friggin minds and SCREAM about separation of church and state.

Charity, when forced, is not charity at all. And government charity does nothing to lift people out of poverty. A lot of government bureaucrats know that if they reduced or even eliminated poverty then they’d be out of a job. And that’s why they have no real incentive to fix the problem. Whereas Christian charity does lift people out of poverty because it holds recipients to higher standards of conduct — no alcohol or substance abuse and no violent behavior. Christian tenants about living up to your fullest potential in life and seeking God’s Will are passed down to recipients. No one in the church ever has to worry about losing their careers if poverty gets solved. Of course, it never will get solved, but the rates can be reduced — of course, government charity won’t play a role in that.
People on the Left only cite Jesus when it suits their warped political narratives, and even when they do they take Jesus and the Bible wildly out of context.
